Subscription Policy

Effective date: 25 June 2026

This Subscription Policy explains how subscriptions to Bible Chat work, how renewals and cancellations are handled, and what refunds you may be entitled to. It supplements our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

The website thebiblechat.com and the related subscription service are operated by BookVitals Inc, 2093 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, USA (in this policy, "we", "us", or "Bible Chat").

1. Subscription plans

When you subscribe you choose one of the following plans. The first billing cycle is offered at a discounted introductory price; subsequent cycles renew at the full price shown.

PlanIntroductory price (first billing cycle)Renewal price (each subsequent cycle)Billing cadence
Weekly$4.99 USD (first week)$14.99 USDEvery 1 week
Annual$79.99 USD (first year)$129.99 USDEvery 12 months

All prices are charged in U.S. dollars (USD). The amount you see at checkout is the amount we charge — we do not add hidden fees.

2. How renewal works

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle at the full renewal price for the plan you chose, unless you cancel before the renewal date. By completing checkout you authorise us, acting through our payment processor Stripe, to charge your saved payment method for each renewal. You can stop the next renewal at any time before the current cycle ends — see Section 3.

Introductory and promotional prices apply only to the period stated; the renewal price shown above applies thereafter. We may change subscription prices or the features included in a plan. If we do, we will give you reasonable advance notice (for example, by email), and any change takes effect from your next billing cycle — you can cancel before it applies.

3. How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time, directly and without contacting support:

  • From email: tap the "Manage subscription" link in any subscription email we send you — it opens your secure billing portal, where you can cancel in a couple of taps.
  • In the app: open Bible Chat and tap Manage subscription in settings.

After cancelling, you keep access to all paid features until the end of your current billing cycle, and no further charges will be made to your payment method.

Please note: deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. To stop future charges you must cancel using one of the methods above.

4. Refunds — 30-day money-back guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first paid subscription cycle. If you are not satisfied with Bible Chat within 30 days of your initial purchase, contact us at [email protected] and we will refund the amount charged for that cycle, in full, to the original payment method.

Refunds for renewal cycles after the first one are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable law.

5. Email notifications we send

We send transactional emails to the address used at checkout, including a reminder before an annual subscription renews (summarising the plan, the renewal date, the renewal amount, and how to cancel) and a notice if a renewal payment fails, with a link to update your payment method or manage your subscription. These emails are transactional; you cannot opt out of them separately from cancelling the subscription itself.

6. Contact

For any subscription, billing, refund, or cancellation question, please contact:

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Subscription Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or in the app) before they take effect. The "Effective date" at the top shows the current version, and your continued subscription after an update means you accept the updated policy.

8. Governing law

This Subscription Policy and any subscription you purchase from us are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the jurisdiction where you reside.
